PRESCHOOL

At Global Champs Karate, we recognize that children between the ages of 4-6 are in a crucial stage of growth and development. They embark on new discoveries every day, while learning to cope with the challenges of everyday life. Their intellect, emotions, physical capabilities, and social competence are all rapidly expanding. Sometimes, their fast-paced development makes it difficult for them to discern between right and wrong and identify what truly matters. That’s where our Tiny Champions program comes in. It serves as a preparatory course for our Little Champs (4 – 6 year old group) and is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of 4 and 6-year-olds. Drawing upon scientific and psychological resources dedicated to this age group, we have carefully crafted our program to align with each child’s characteristics and capabilities. Our Little Champs (aged 4 – 6) program follows a World-Champion-Designed Curriculum, focusing on championship characteristics essential for success. These characteristics serve as the foundation of our program and guide our Little Champs to build Confidence, Leadership, Discipline, excelling in martial arts and life. KIDS

The Junior Champions program is specifically designed for children aged 7-12 years old. We understand that children within this age group possess unique characteristics that differ from younger children. They have their own range of development and distinctive traits. Our Youth Martial Arts program provides a more specific and tailored training experience to meet the needs of children in this age group. We recognize that at this stage of their development, they can benefit from training that addresses their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth. In our Junior Champions program, your child will have the opportunity to learn and excel in various disciplines, including sport karate, GOJU, kickboxing, and self-defense. They will train alongside peers within their age group, allowing them to focus and progress without distractions from younger classmates. This ensures that their training is optimized and their classes are designed to meet their needs. Additionally, our experienced instructors provide guidance, motivation, and structure to help students build Confidence, Leadership, Discipline, and essential life skills that will benefit them beyond martial arts. Our teens program provides a dynamic and all-encompassing approach to fitness, self-defense, and personal growth. Will My Child Become A Bully?+

We find that our students become more confident to stand up to bullies and have more humility and kindness to others through their martial arts lessons. Confidence, Leadership, Discipline are the core principles that guide our students to greatness.

Are Parents Allowed To Watch?+

We encourage parents to watch their children in their kids martial arts lessons. We love parents getting involved! And so do their kids. Even better, Train with the Best. Be the Best. Join into some of our martial arts classes for adults. Your kids will love that you have something in common. It will build a strong family bond! Additionally, if you wanted some ‘me-time’? Simply drop them off, and go grab a coffee. They will greet you with a huge smile when you return, because they had SO much fun! Champ 4 Life!

Do I Need To Be Fit For This?+

No, not at all! We find that people start at varying fitness levels. But, you will find that you do get fit by doing our Sanford, Lake Mary, and Heathrow martial arts classes. Isn’t that the point though? A fun workout that gets results! Train with the Best. Be the Best.

How Long Until I Get My Black Belt?+

Truthfully, the journey to black belt is personal. Everyone progresses at their own pace. There’s no judgement on how long it takes. What we can say is that it is SO WORTHWHILE! The self-defense skills you’ll master can truly be life-saving! Yet, the other rewards of striving for black belt, such as perseverance, commitment, and self-discipline, pave the way for life-long success. What Do I Need To Bring To My First Martial Arts Lesson?+

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes suitable for sport! It’s not ideal to practice kicks in a skirt. Be sure to bring a water bottle to your martial arts classes. You’ll find Global Champs Karate in Sanford, Lake Mary, and Heathrow offers martial arts classes for both kids and adults, providing a fantastic workout and lots of fun!
